 Jiangyin Chinese Medicine External Therapy Special Hospital of Hepatobiliary was established in the eighties, and under guidance of famous Chinese medicine doctor Zhou Yitian in Jiangsu Province, the hospital has established 3 clinics: (1) liver and spleen clinic (2) biliary and pancreatic clinic (3) hepatobiliary tumor clinic, 3 relevant wards, 52 berths, and complete logistic service facilities. For many years, the hospital has developed new methods of hepatobiliary external therapy on the basis of hepatobiliary internal medicine therapy, and through constant practice and summarization, the hospital has developed in hepatobiliary clinical external therapy 3 major external therapies such as external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine, modern Hi-Tech external therapy, expert’s classical external operation therapy, and the clinical effectiveness is distinguished and favored by patients. Though the new construction in 2004, the hospital entered the flourishing developing period. The hospital lies in the ancient town of Jiangyin ----the Yuecheng Town, with beautiful environment and garden type design. The European medical house, rational structure of department, intimate and harmonious medical care, and the composite Chinese medicine treatment can be rated at the top among rural medical organizations in southern part of the Yangtze River. The hospital was awarded as the key clinical special hospital of Chinese medicine hepatobiliary of Jiangsu Province in 2006, and was listed as the national-level rural key special construction unit of Chinese medicine in 2007. Since the clinical institute of Chinese medicine external therapy is co-established by the special hospital and Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1993, the hospital has launched clinical effectiveness observation and experimental topic research on curing chronic hepatitis b and liver cirrhosis with point application of hereditary recipe of Zhou Yitian, and has won such titles as scientific and technological progress first prize of the city and the provincial scientific and technological progress third prize, and has obtained the national patent. The hospital has developed jointly with Taiwan Best Company the clinical new type thin plaster of cataplasm which is easy to use, has evident effect, and is trusted by the patient. |
